enhance your smile with veneers

Dental Veneers are a great solution for reaching your desired outcome when it comes to chipped or worn teeth, misshapen or crooked teeth, gaps in between teeth, discoloration, or the desire for a more aesthetically pleasing smile.

With the veneers, patients can achieve a perfectly natural smile between 7 to 10 days.

What Are Veneers?

Veneers are thin coverings that are placed over the facial part of your natural teeth. They are much less intrusive to the enamel of your teeth than a full crown and mimic the esthetic of your smile.

The veneers are made from porcelain material which cover the imperfections of your stained enamel and do not stain easily. They are long-lasting and very durable with proper care.

Veneers Process at Chandler Dentistry

The Veneers process at Chandler Dentistry is efficient and easy with digital scanning. Before you get veneers, you have to make sure your gums and existing teeth are healthy. For the actual placement of the veneers, we will start off by removing a small amount of your enamel from the front and sides of your tooth to make room for the veneers.

Next, we will scan the prepared tooth and find a shade that matches your natural teeth. After, we will send your impression to our trusted dental lab where they will take several days to perfect your new veneers but in the mean time we will fit you for temporary veneers. Finally, after the lab sends your veneers back to us, we will check to make sure the veneers fit and will then bond them to your prepared tooth. You will walk out of the office with a brand new smile.

How Long Do Veneers Last?

If you are the right candidate for veneers and continue to practice good oral health, veneers can last upwards to 15 years. This means proper gum health and cleaning are necessary.

Veneers are not for every patients. If you are prone to clenching or grinding your teeth, the veneers could potentially chip, crack, or get loose under immense pressure over time. We recommend using a night guard while you sleep to prevent any damage.
