Freshen up your smile

Even with diligent care, teeth staining and discoloration is bound to happen to all of us at some point. By combining in-office treatments and at-home whitening kits, we are able to achieve the naturally bright smile you desire.

Our team will take the time to understand your whitening goals and build an effective plan that utilizes the process that works best for you and your goals.

What is Professional Teeth Whitening?

While over-the-counter whitening kits can provide some results for a small percentage of people, professional teeth whitening is generally much more effective. A professional teeth whitening treatment tends to be more effective for a number of reasons, chief among them is the ability for the dental team to administer professional-grade products.

These professional-grade products can further penetrate the tooth's enamel and provide immediate results. Where over-the-counter treatments may only show visible results after multiple applications, whitening treatments preformed in office will provide immediate results.

Our Teeth Whitening Process at Chandler Dentistry

The teeth whitening process is quite simple and can take anywhere between 30 to 60 minutes. We will begin by polishing and prepping your teeth by removing any plaque on the surface. We will then insert retractors to keep your cheeks from touching your teeth and will place barriers over your gums to further protect your mouth from exposure to the solution.

Next, we will coat the surface of your teeth with a whitening solution and leave that on until the desired shade is reached.

Will My Teeth Be Sensitive After Having My Teeth Whitened?

You will feel some sensitivity for the next 24 hours but we will provide a gel that you can coat your teeth to help ease that. Be cautious when over the next day and stay away from foods and beverage that may alter the pigmentation of the whitening.

Average results can last anywhere between 6 months and 3 years based on how you take care of your teeth.
